Fernanda Jurado is a 26-year-old Mexican filmmaker, writer, ​director, photographer, and performance artist based in Los ​Angeles. Her experimental narrative focuses on the visuals of ​storytelling by the use of mythical symbolism while at the same ​time utilizing color and sound to guide her audience through ​emotional stages.

Artist sTATEMENT

My practice focuses on magical elements of ​psychology, horror, and alternative realities that ​create discussions and conversations about human ​behaviors, specifically womanhood. I'm a strong ​believer in the experimental process and that hard ​work reaps desired results.
